Tuishou Chen wins this fast-paced bout against Jan Lucanus.
He's a well-known champion martial artist, whose wins include the silver World Cup medal in Taiwan for push hands.

This was a good match, but with plenty of controversy over what techniques are legal.
Grandmaster William C. C. Chen is seen explaining the American versus Chinese rules to Tuishou Chen.
(Rick Barrett is the Official.) In the end, Tuishou's coach withdrew his man, and this excellent match
ended.

This clip has a nice judo throw by Dan, beautifully turned around by Tuishou.
Amid controversy over rules, Tuishou's coach pulls him from the competition to avoid disqualification.

Free-style demo bout with Daniel Caulfield (2005-07-02, Orlando)
Daniel Caulfield and Tuishou Chen clearly wanted to keep going after competing in the
International Chinese Martial Arts Championship.
For fun and learning, they went on to push hands without the benefit of rules or judges.
The result is both instructive and entertaining.

team decide to get in some informal bouts.
The action starts with Jan Lucanus, and the play between them is full of energy, with some beautiful moves.

In this next bout, Dan works hard to push Tuishou, and as he did in the competition finals, throws Tuishou over
his shoulder. And once again, Tuishou manages to land perfectly, without losing his balance.
(In the 2004 World Cup, Tuishou had won the gold and Dan had won
the silver against him for moving-step push hands - just as happened in this 2005 championship.)

Exhausted but game, Tuishou Chen goes on to push with Trevor Cohen, who won the competition's gold medal
in the middleweight fixed-step category. Despite the size difference, Trevor makes hard work for Tuishou,
who still throws in a few great moves.

This clip is an amazing display by Tuishou, especially considering the intensity
of the previous bouts and the proven skill of all of his opponents.
